What Happened During Ayat. Hashemi's Tour to Kerman Province
In his three-day tour to Kerman Province, Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, Chairman of the Expediency Discernment Council, participated in various programs and visited the construction procedure of the biggest water supply tunnel project in the Middle East as well as some urban projects. He also went to his birthplace to show devotion to his relatives.
Ayat. Hashemi arrived in the Kerman Province on July 13, 2016, Kerman Province State Government's Public Relations Department reported. In his three-day tour to this region of Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Hashemi participated in various programs including an intimate meeting with the provincial authorities, the 7th Gathering for Coordination and Survey of Provincial Affairs Held by the Islamic Azad University, Water Council Meeting and Gathering of MPs. He also visited the construction procedure of the biggest water supply tunnel in the Middle East and urban projects of the Kerman City. Finally he went to his birthplace, where he visited his own relatives.
Expediency Discernment Council's Main Policy: Realization of the Resistive Economy's Goals
"Since the 11th Government of I. R. of Iran is going to make a great development in the country's economic area including breaking the records and reaching an economic boom; therefore, the Kerman Province plans in this field are considered", Ayatollah Hashemi said.
He continued, "Realization of the Resistive Economy goal across the whole country is the main policy followed by the Expediency Discernment Council and Kerman Province is one of precursor provinces in this regard."
Kerman Province Governor's Models Need To be Followed
In his meeting with officials of the Islamic Azad University, Chairman of the Expediency Discernment Council called Alireza Razm Husseini, Kerman Province Governor General, a smart and active man. He also said that it is obvious that the rational behavior of Ayatollah Jafari, Kerman Friday Prayers Imam, has resulted in a coordination between Friday Prayers Imams, authorities and the private sector.
"Models designed and prepared by the Kerman Governor must be followed by other provinces and the media need to shed more lights on such plans", Ayatollah Hashemi said; "We in the Islamic Azad University are a good partner for the Kerman Province and it is possible to transfer one of eight economic zones of Kerman Province to Islamic Azad University."
Referring to the exemplary resistive economy county and said that Ghaleh Ganj has become a national role model and if people in other parts of the country participate in the economic plans of the government and if the bureaucracy is prevented, then we can proceed very quickly.
Ayatollah Hashemi is one the Revolution's Pillars
In this intimate meeting, Kerman Province Governor General said, "Ayatollah Hashemi Rafsanjani is a great character and is one of main pillars of the Islamic Revolution."
"Today, 20 months after conclusion of the Economic Resistive plan in the Ghaleh Ganj County, we can implement a similar plan in other parts of the province and there are eight active economic zones in the province", he added.
Construction of Water Supply Tunnel Is a Persistent Action
After visiting the construction procedure of the greatest water supply tunnel in the Middle East, Chairman of the Expediency Discernment Council said that the development tasks are being carried out orderly; water supply tunnel of the Kerman Province is a persistent task and it is able to compensate droughts at least for 100 years."
Mafakher Residential Complex and Abu Hamed Kermani Clinic in the Islamic Azad University were launched by chairman of the Expediency Discernment Council.
Visiting Kerman Urban Projects
Ayatollah Hashemi Visited Ayatollah Jafari, Representative of the Leader in the Kerman Province, in the first day of his tour to Kerman Province. Then he visited urban projects. Initially he went to the city's historical Bazar and watched the repair process closely and then he visited Hayatia Ancient School, which has been reconstructed recently.
Ayatollah Hashemi also visited Shohada (Moshtagh) Square reconstruction project, Khatamol Anbia Headquarters for building equipment, Pardisan Ghaem artificial lake and some unleveled crossings in the Kerman.
He also met and talked with a number of political activists of Kerman Province; he asked people, especially the youth, to participate in the next two elections and do not let the extremists to scratch the good reputation of the country.

At the end of his three-day tour to Kerman Province, Ayatollah Hashemi went to Rafsanjan County and Nough Zone, his birthplace and visited President Museum and spoke in the Farhikhtegan Hall of Islamic Azad University and visited his own relatives,
