Two-Day Tour of Vice President to Kerman Province
Masoud Soltanifar, Vice President and Head of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization, travelled to Kerman Province to hold Government Week plans on Friday night, August 26, 2016.
Participating in the ceremony held on the occasion of registration of Dasht-e Loot and Kerman aqueducts in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List, which was held in Madar Park of Kerman City, Vice President and Head of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization announced the Mr. President's congratulations on the occasion of registration of these historical monuments in this province and added that some great things have been happened in cultural heritage area within recent years in both Kerman Province and the country.
Speaking in the Kerman Channel Exclusive Interview Program, the Vice President commemorated the Government Week and martyrs Rajaee and Bahonar and said that the Government Week opportunity must be used to reflect a part of the government performance.
Pointing to plans of his two-day tour to Kerman Province, Sultanifar reminded that the Islamic Republic of Iran has succeeded to register 21 cases in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List, out of which five items belong to Kerman Province.
In his second day of tour to Kerman Province, Sultanifar took part in the Kerman Province Administrative Council Meeting, which was held in the fifth day of the Government Week. Commemorating the Government Week, he said, "Thanks to both security and military forces, today the Islamic Republic of Iran is the most secure country in the region and security is the most important infrastructure of development and planning."
In this meeting, the executive operation and inauguration ceremony of the Government Week projects in Rafsanjan, Roudbar-e Jonob, Ravar and Jiroft counties were started in the form of videoconference.
Later in this Kerman Tour, Sultanifar participated in the joint meeting of the Provincial Resistive Economy Taskforce with economic and tourist activists, which has been held by the Kerman Province Chamber of Commerce. In this meeting he said that today 500000 people directly and 1500,000 people indirectly are working in tourism field.
Control and Supervision Center for the Kerman Province Resistive Economy Taskforce was opened in a ceremony convened by Masoud Sultanifar, Vice President, Alireza Razm Husseini, Kerman Governor General, and a group of provincial authorities.
Repair and reconstruction of Ghaleh Dokhtar and Ghaleh Ardeshir, as the greatest historical Monument of Kerman Province, were started with the presence of Vice President and Head of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization and Kerman Governor General through putting an adobe in these castles.
He also visited the executive operation of organizing projects of Shohada Square (Moshtaghia), Khawaja Atabak Tomb and Lelah Garden Complex, as under reconstrcuction monuments of Kerman Province.
In the sidelines of this visit, addressing journalists, Sultanifar said, "Thanks to activities of various executive operations, Kerman Province is precursor in reconstructing historical monuments in the country."
Participation in the ceremony of purchasing and presenting works of the late Master Ali Akbar Sanati and Master Ali Khaleghi in the Industrial Museum of Kerman City was the last plan of the vice president's two-day tour to Kerman Province.
